The 1885 Dunfermline Athletic Business Club is delighted to announce that today it has handed over a further donation to the football club of £10,000 which brings the total donations by the 1885 Business Club since its inception in 2013/14 to over £300,000.

The Chairman of the Business Club, Garry Davidson noted “This has been an amazing achievement by the Business Club over the past 6 years. Clearly, we all understand how much pressure the football industry is under just now with no fans attending games, so I know this latest donation will be welcomed by the Pars and it will be used to help with the club, in particular, with their team travel costs. I would especially like to thank our 58 members for sticking with the Business Club during these difficult times. Our normal schedule of events and activities have been completely curtailed, for the time being, therefore, I would thank all members for continuing with their memberships.”

The 1885 Dunfermline Athletic Business Club was set up in 2013 as part of the football clubs’ wider community programme to establish strong links with the local West Fife business community which has historically  been a  strong supporter of Dunfermline Athletic FC.
